I slept in. Then spent 7 hours taking care of renewing our visas. Met Ali and Coach Paul and the other athletes at HKSI. I had informed him beforehand of my illness. My workout was already not that hard (200, 400, 600, 800, 1000,800,600,400,200) so we just backed off the goal splits a bit. Lots of rest because of heat/humidity and the nature of the workout. 4.74 warm up at 5:01/k. Splits were 40 (2:10), 83, (2:25), 2:03 (2:11), 2:43 (3:23), 3:25 (4:20), 2:44 (4:05), 1:58 (3:13), 77 (3:39), 35 5.34k cool down I felt not so strong, but was glad to be able to show up, support Ali, interact with coach, and get in some decent speed.
