Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Well I really learned my lesson today. My husband ran on the treadmill this morning because he thought it would be to wet outside. I disagreed but didn't win. When I took my kids to school, it was around 35 degrees, pretty nice but I procrastinated. Had to run an errand at 9:30 and it was around 41 degrees, really nice. So I slowly got ready to go out. By the time I headed out I realized howwarm it was and had the great idea to do a long run today hoping for about 7-8. About a half a mile into my run it started to sprinkle. By 2.5 miles it was a good drizzle, 4 miles good drizzle and cold wind, 5 miles starting to pour and cold wind. I guess that I learned my lesson for the second time this week, but that's the problem with me I'm sure it will take several more times. I was actually pretty proud of myself that I didn't cut the tun short when it started raining pretty good I figured when I got home I was going to drench myself in water (shower) anyway and it would feel that much better after I endured the run half soaked! Well I'm off to go find out if my theory on that is true! HAPPY FRIDAY!! ONLY 18 DAYS till Chirstmas!!! Are you ready???? (NO PRESSURE!!!!)

Good job sticking out the bad weather! It takes a lot to stay out in bad conditions especially when you're by yourself. I'm sure the nice not shower was heavenly afterwards! Have a great weekend - you deserve it!

Oh man! If I ever wondered how tough you are, I don't now! (I never have, but you know what I mean.) You're my hero.
