Running Accomplishments:

Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Slept in untill 8:45 to late to get out and do much before it was feeling pretty warm. Should have done more but a little behind at home yada, yada, yada! Need to have a high mileage week, but not looking to good for next week either. Wed. leave early for Martins Cove. I know Thurs. we walk 7 miles and Friday 9 miles. Can I count that or is it cheating?

Way to get out nonetheless! I was REALLY tempted not to run Saturday but finally talked myself into it. You should have called while you were here, but I'm glad you got some shoes. We did a run Thursday morning and I was hoping you would come with us! I guess you were in Cedar though. Maybe next time :) Are you guys going to Torrey Saturday for Grandma Faye's 90th? We will be there after the Bryce Valley race that morning. It sounds like you may be trekking it! I counted some miles (not the total we walked but half or so) when we went on our trek...it was hard work!

Well I would be really tempted to not run if Clyde was playing at Lake Powell! I can't believe that he ran down there he's amazingly dedicated! You both are! Yea, we will still be trekking on Sat. so we'll miss the party. (Would way rather be there) The new shoes feel nice! The guy at the store was very helpful and nice. So are you rinning in Bryce Valley or is it just Clyde? I hear there is money on the line down there? Is it a half?

Too bad we will miss you Saturday. That morning Clyde is running the half and I am just doing the 5K. There is money for the top 5 in the half, but it should be really competitive, so we'll see how it goes!
