Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Ran to the track this morning, had bribed my girls to get up and go to at least walk... and that's all I could get out of them. So I walked with them a mile and a half. Then I headed out to finish my run. Did another 3.5 for a total of 4.5 running plus the 1.5 or so walking in the middle, but I won't count that.

Good job. Cute picture too! I'm not sure what time the 5k is on Saturday. Probably pretty early, before the parade. We are going up Friday. You really should come run it. Of course we can't compare ourselves to Clyde! My time in races is probably always going to be about double his, but oh well! I would just like to run it under 30 minutes this weekend.

Hey Michelle- To answer your question I'm currently running in Saucony Omni ProGrid 6. They are OK. I used to always run in really cushiony Asics and just recently switched to this model of Saucony for more stability (due to my left foot running in so much). I'm missing the Asics and I think my next pair I'll try an Asics w/ cushion & stability. My last shoe was Asics Landreth- loved them. Where do you live? Sure there's not a running store around?

Ah- Richfield. Like it there. I've only been there once (a couple weeks ago), but I'm actually going to be there this Sat. for my son's track meet (Hershey's)
