Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

I went out a little later today because I refuse to bundle up yet if I don't have too. By ten it was shorts and t-shirt weather so that was good around 58 degrees, actually about perfect. I was going for 6 miles but when I went passed my house and saw that my husband had came home from hunting I went home to say hi! O well I'll run with Callzee tonight and get it up to 6 or maybe more. I was supposed to make today count as I am leaving at 5 in the morning to SLC to a nursing confrence untill Sat. I have to be up at 4 am. The entire reason I work nights is becasue I never want to see an alarm clock that says 4 am! So much for that!!! I guess once in a few years I can handle it? I'm hoping to find time to run at the hotel, but we are staying down town and the Gateway is within walking distance.... I may have to put on my running clothes jet down and speed shop through the stores and call that running!!! Yep, I think that I'm on to something. I'll let you know how that goes!!! Who knows I may even have some all time high milleage for the week.

Added 1.3 to make 6 for the day, off to the city tomorrow and hope t get some running in!

Michelle, thanks for the encouragement, it seems that you have really been consistent with your weekly mileage the last couple of months. I look forward to your upcoming race stories. Consistency, worth at least 20 commando points for you the last two months.

Hey Michelle- Have fun at the conference. I'm jealous that you'll be Gateway shopping!

Have a great time in SLC! I hope you're able to get some sleep. 4 AM is not something you want your bedside clock to read, unless you can sleep for at least two or three more hours.

I had an other Eclipse thought. Are we ever going to meet and learn about Tanya and her coven in Alaska? Will they play a big role in book four or will we on find out about them in Midnight Sun?
