I didn't feel as light on my feet today as I did last night, I am blaming it on a really bad nights sleep. I really didn't get into any real pattern untill after 3:30 (at least that was the last time that I looked at the clock) and then tried to sleep in and finally gave up after 3 phone calls. I should have pushed myself a little harder, but I wimped out! As for last nights run, I know I could have pushed that into more but saftey won that battle. I really like running in the dark. I'm not sure why either. I think one reason that I like it is because I don't focus on whats ahead I just go with how I feel, not worrying if there is a hill and it's going to be hard or whatever. Unfortunately I don't run early very often to go in the dark, and don't always feel comfortable at night. Well I think I'll try and get another mile tonight and then hopefully by Monday this body will be ready to get back on track for my 30 mile a week goal!

Oh, that picture is beautiful, Michelle!!!! I'm glad you had a great time. It sounds like it was good timing with your plantar fascitits (sp?). I hope that starts healing quickly.

30 miles a week!!! What an awesome goal!!! I'm a full 1/3 behind you!! (hee, hee) But you're keeping me motivated just by watching your success!!!! Have a great Sunday.

I agree. Great picture! And good luck on your mileage goal. Part of me is wondering if it is wise to set a new mileage record when you are struggling with the beginning of PF, though. Be nice to your foot! Hopefully you will get your sock soon.

Oh, and to answer your question...Mik'L comes to AZ twice a year--in May and November, and Shauna, Mik'L and I are hopefully going to make a tradition of going for a run together when she comes. Shauna isn't doing Moab (at least not to my knowledge!) And Mik'L is still deciding about it.

You do realize your pics are like a sword through the heart?? Just kidding! It just really makes me want to go to Hawaii! Another BEAUTIFUL pic! Sounds like you've had a couple of nice evening runs. I like the dark too, esp. when there's hills 'cause I don't even know they are there. Just be careful out there in the dark! How's the foot treating ya?

Michelle, I just noticed your are from Richfield, my dad's growing up place. I have cousins, aunts, uncles that live in Richfield. It is hard to get back in the groove from Hawaii. Good luck on the base mileage goal of 30.
