Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Hit my goal for the week, Yea!!!  I went out to do only 2 miles because I had done extra the 2 previous days.  Thought it would be to cold to move in Lyman but when I started out it wasn't too bad!  The sun was out and I felt pretty good.  I still was a little short on time but thought that 2 miles seemed a little short so I just went off a guess and turned around.  That's when I realized how COLD it was.  I had to run back in a slight breeze and it was so cold.  But I was able to thaw next to the fire when I got back and was glad that I met and even exceeded my goal for the week! (I'm gonna need to keep that up after this weekend for sure!!!  Think St.George fastrunning blog party to the max times three days with fudge and .....oh ,the list is too painful to repeat.  Monday is gonna be painful !

WAHHHHHHH! We didn't get selected for Moab!!! Boo- hoooooo! I just got the email from the 1/2 organizers. You can bid for a spot, but bidding starts at $100 and I just don't want to pay that much. Bummer. Maybe you all will want to come do Hurricane 1/2 in May?

Our group didn't get in either. What are the odds of that? Well I'm glad if you didn't get in then neither did we! I guess we'll have to figure out a new race!
