Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Got out this morning while it was nice and cool, about 50 degrees! SOOOOO much better than on the treadmill. Nice run, a little grumbling from the hip the last 2 miles but other than that really good. We have an ATV jamboree here in town for a week every year this time of year, so it was me and the ATV's out in force around town today. As I was finishing up the run, they were headed out on one of the tours that leaves near my house. I know that there are a lot in town but as I was going down the road they were coming in the opposite direction. They kept coming and coming and then more and more.... when that group finished a smaller but not few by any means went the other way, the same direction I was heading. I know this gets bigger every year, but I just couldn't believe there were so many! They let them take over the town, ride main street, sometimes more ATV's than cars there. And everywhere else in town. Last night at work I took care of a couple that drove from Wisconsin to ride. CRAZY! Well enough about that! Off to the Big City for a meeting, have to drive four hours for a two hour meeting (Hmmmm!) That's what I get for living in the country I guess!

Ran I mile with McCall this evening on the grass at the ball park, she did great tonight 10:35 pace and no stops tonight!

An ATV take-over, huh? Sounds awesome--well, from a tourist perspective. And I am excited you had an enjoyable run. Everyone deserves enjoyable runs.

Guess what? I just got an email from the library!! Eclipse is on the shelf and waiting for me! Yahoo!
