Running Accomplishments:

Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Even though I decided to forgo the cowboy boots, I think I stayed on and at least had a decent ride! I completed four miles and though I couldn't let it fall in the easy catagory, it at least felt much better in comparison to yesterdays run. I did get out a little earlier and tried to stay really relaxed and just take it easy. I hope it means my body is done punishing me for all the abuse I put it through the last week! Felt good to get in a good run. Hopefully I can get in at least one longer run this week.

Good job! Where did you guys go? We are up in Logan for the WBR...we'll see how it goes! I may have already asked (?) but are you guys going to be around next weekend? Clyde and I are planning to run the little 5k in Torrey next Saturday...you should come run it with me.

Aren't cruises the best? Did you take kids or not? Jim (my husband) & I have gone on 2, but not w/ kids. I keep thinking it would be fun to take them. Yeah, cruises can really be a set back, but any vacation can. Anyway- Jim works in CVU and has just been a nurse for a year. He graduated w/ his bachelors from U of U last year (mid life crisis career change- hee hee, was an industrial designer before) He really likes nursing and is trying to get into ICU so he can get experience and go on in school. Don't know how you do it, tough job! I do mortgages and sit in front of the computer all day, don't have the stomach for healthcare! Happy running & have a great weekend!
