Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.
Short-Term Running Goals:
keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.
Sounds like the Doc's injection worked on your hip? That's cool! Your shady Cedar run sounds nice! I could really go for that right now. You sound like me- always a little family trip somewhere. We live to vacation. We leave again Wed to CA for a week- so the running & diet have not been very consistent. I know I need to run 5-6x a week, shorter distances, but since I've been taking so many days off I end up making up mileage with 3-4 longer runs a week instead. May not be the best plan, but it works. I told my hubby after this trip next week we need to stay put for awhile! YOU keep inspiring me! I still have young kids, can't imagine how crazy life will get when they are teenagers, I'm impressed you continue to make time to run! Keep it up! Christi
