I worked last night and the thing that woke me up today was the wind! So to avoid it I put my run off till this evening, following going to dinner with the kids and my in-laws. We stuck to salads but even after that I felt a little urpy towards the end of the run. I told myself I had to do 3 and would have liked to do 4 but I at least pushed past the minimum goal a little. It did feel pretty good for the most part but I never did avoid the wind, just ran with it in the dark instead, oh well the temps. were still great and I hear that is going to change tomorrow! :(

We've been pretty spoiled with this fabulous fall weather. It will be interesting to see what happens. I hope we can all endure the colder temps! I don't love the idea of colder temps plus the wind, but it will give us that much more satisfaction if we can continue on! Way to get your goal in and even surpass it a bit! That's hard to do after dinner and you weren't able to get rid of the wind after all. I came to the conclusion today that I must embrace the wind and use it to my advantage. Next time just pretend really, really hard that you are in that Hawaiian paradise again!

Thanks Kim, your positive attitude is contagious! We'll just keep pushing each other through the cold winter and have fun together this spring, and it will all pay off!
