Did a half a few years ago, unsure of my time but nothing to write home about. I trained about 6 months and then took about 2yrs. off. Started running again this year but have never done anything serious.

Short-Term Running Goals:

keep running, stay fit and healthy, while having fun. Would like to get my mileage up to 25 miles a week and plan some short races when I get confident with my speed.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get my mileage back up and run pain free!

Four painful miles on my DREADMILL..... I shouldn't complain because I take a break after every mile and it's still painful. I still plan for another mile before bed. I need to just toughen up and endure the cold and head outside. On a good note I found some warm weather running clothes that I think will really be nice and even though they are more expensive than I thought was reasonable, my husband said if I ordered them he would wrap them up for me! (I'm not going to ask questions on that one, I'm just going to do it before he changes his mind!!)

I managed to finish the last mile.... barely!

Good job. I used to love the treadmill, but now I can't stand it. Good job doing 4 miles on it. And yeah Ted for good Christmas presents!

check out www.runningwarehouse.com. They have some good deals and not too expensive.

Ha! My brothers used to buy CDs they wanted for Christmas and then give each other money, so it was a total wash! Your method is a great way to ensure you will get exactly what you want. Good job on the run!

Nice job getting on the treadmill - I can't stand mine. I need to have my husband take a lesson from yours. I will need to drop a hint or two.

Great job on the Treadmill I will only run on mine if I have to, it seems so much harder or something ..I enjoy running outside, I have the cold gear under armor and it seems to keep me more then enough warm. great job today..

Great run on the treadmill!!!! I actually wish I had a treadmill. Today I ran through the snow and it was only fun because it was a novelty, but I'm really not looking forward to the next 5-6 months of snow and cold.
