| | I got my hubby and daughter to the gym with me!!! Hubby spends he entire work day out in the heat so he opted to swim, then came out and did some weights with me. Daughter and I did about 3 on the elliptcal, then I ran 2 on the treadmill. I think she got in about 1 mile of running. She is still at the run/walk phase. |

| | 5 miles on the elliptical... stress seemed to be a factor today, just wanted to sweat for a long time and not think about anything so I stayed on the elliptical hoping to rid myself of the stressfull feelings. I ended up mowing the lawn also when I got home... then needed a long conversation with my hubby, after that I was feeling a bit better. |

Three and half miles running on the TM, the last mile was in my stocking feet.
Sorry I have not been on the blog to answer some of the comments that have been posted. My knee is feeling OK, still some pain but nothing that really stops me too much. I don't know if I will ever get more speed, that seems to be slower to recover. I don't plan on any races soon, especially nothing over a 10K for a while. I might run a 5K this fall with my daughter and daughter-in-law, but that is yet to be arranged. For now I'm just enjoying my Saturday runs with Sue... doing what we can and enjoying the company. |

| | Two miles running then another walking. Not too much to say about this workout... my stress is child related, at twenty years old they think they know everything, but are still young enough to make too many stupid mistakes. I think as a parent one of the hardest things we have to do is let out children learn from their mistakes and take the consequences of their action. |

So I had my works 5K that I had to work at. I talked Sue into helping out also, then we could run after. So while I was picking up some boxes of shirts for the race from the printers. I was holding the do open with my leg since I was holding the box with my hands, the door slid down the back of my foot. I toughed it out and Sue and I ran after the our work was done at the race. As you can see by my picture running didn't help it too much, it was also about 87 degrees by the time we got running, I was HOT!! One of the kids that was helping us at the race told me I was a hard core runner LOL I guess he didn't see my waddling along on my run.
