Today was one of those runs that makes you realizes why you love to run. And so thankful that I live so close to the mountains. I really needed a changed of scenery so I ran the trails above 22nd street in Ogden. I love these trails and today it felt great!! I was able to take some of the hills faster then I have been able to in the past. Also I think I finished my regular loop faster then I had in a while. I don't know the mileage, I just time myself and estimate the miles. I think next time I might do some longer runs up by Snow Basin.

I had a low mileage week, but I guess that's OK. I'm out on furlough from work for 4 weeks so hopefully I can get more lovely morning trail runs in. :)

Your route sounds so beautiful! I really miss running in the mountains-it's an extra dose of inspiration. Great pace and great mileage this week!

Thanks Shauna,

Looks like you have some great mileage this week also. This has been my lowest week in a while. Have you run St. George before? I ran it for my first time last fall. It is beautiful... good luck with your training.
