My first varsity race! We woke up at 6:30 to a yummy breakfast at Taylor B's Grandparents house. We raced at 8:30 and it was brrr chilly. We ran a 2ish-3ish mile warmup and barely made it to the starting line before the gun went off. We started and I focused on not falling away too far from Aubrey and Liz for the first mile and a half. The last half of the race coach roberts and coach holt told me to catch Liz. So I gave it all that I had the last half and finished right after her. It was a fast race and I liked the course alot. Fun being up there with the team :) Looking forward to racing again in a couple weeks in Arizona!
