I have drivers ed everyday after school now so I am going to go to morning runs once I can run.
This morning before school I went to marks again and he did ultra sound on me and heated my leg. Then he massaged it with this really hot minty stuff and it hurt sooooo bad! He loosened up all the knots in my shin and taped my left foot for more support. Then later i went to the running center and got some inserts to put in my shoes. They gave me a lot of advice and told me that my left arch needs a lot of support so hopefully that helps. I stretched, iced, and rolled and now I'm debating on trying to run again tomorrow... but man, shin splints are such a pain!!! |
