8.4 miles / 1:30:57 / 10:51 pace / Logan with my Hay

My two youngest spent the weekend in Logan with their sister and I had the assignment of picking them up this morning.  Went up last night instead and we had some good quality family time playing card games and stuff.  The plan was to get up early and go for a run with Hay.  Ended up sleeping in a bit but we still ran--I just got home later than anticipated.  Oh well.

We ran portions of the last few miles of the TOU course.  It's funny how you miss things while you're racing, or how streets look completely different without a string of runners and cones and aid stations along it.

After work I made a quick and enjoyable run up Provo Canyon along the Provo River Trail.  Followed a ponytail about a half mile on the way back down and then she followed me.  :|

Planned on 4 or 5 but 1.5 miles out the wind whipped up and sent me running back to the car for cover.  It was nasty.   Splits were 9:10, 9:05, and 7:48.
