Psyched myself up for this all day long. Seems to have paid off--I got in 7 miles and it didn't feel all that miserable. Yay! I really need to get into the habit of doing this every day, either before or after work.

VERY VERY VERY COOL!!!!
So, was this outside or on the treadmill?
The good thing about the treadmill is that it makes running outside such a joy!!! :)

Promise? I need some hounding. I read the article in Runner's World about treadmill running.

Absolutely!!! :) :) :)
Have you tried the 1 min on 1 min off workout? You run hard for 1 min (5K race pace or faster) then jog 1 min. Do that 10-20 repeats.
Or the pyramid speekwork? Warm up at base pace, 1 min fast, 1 min base pace, 2 min fast, 1 min base pace, 3 min fast, 1 min. base pace, 4 min fast, 1 min base and so on.
HAVE FUN playing on the TM tomorrow!!!

Nice Brad I usually have to do my run first thing in the morning or it doesn't happen. Good for you to get it done!

Great job on the run. 7 miles at a faster pace right on.

I practically live on the treadmill. It's funny, because after reading all the comments about trying different programs, as I ran today, I noticed all the different program options on my treadmill. I hadn't noticed them before.
