Today was the day to try running without the boot. I put on the brace and started out with the dog. It took a while of walking to get my sea legs back, but then started jogging. I decided to be safe and just run/walk around my condo complex and had to call it quits after 2 miles. Too much pain in the ankle - but it is actually in the anterior tibialis tendon which started indicating it was injured as the posterior tibialis tendon started healing. Made the decision that I could not do the Buffalo Run. Boo Hoo! |
