Still struggling with extreme exhaustion - but think my iron levels are climbing back up again tonight.

Walked 1 mile with the dog this morning.

Froze in the office - furnace was dead and it was 48 degrees.

2.5 miles after work walking with the dog.

45 minutes on the stationary bike.

40 minutes lower body workout.

Stretching.

My feeling last night that the anemia issues were clearing up was right. Or it was the beautiful sunny afternoon.

Ran 2 miles with the dog.  She lagged behind me the first mile and I let her have the lead on the way home.  No watch, but I'm guessing she was going 9:30 pace or better.

3 more miles. 9:34/9:53/10:23 (last half mile was cooldown).

Easy run this morning before work with the dog.  More later - hopefully.

I found another sign of the anemia buildup that I didn't recognize until afterwards. The last two weeks I could not get my resting heart rate below the low 60's or high 50's.  Today it was back to 48.

PM = another 3 easy miles.

Struggles again.  I went to the gym during lunch figuring I could work on 10mm on the treadmill.  I was pouring sweat at 12 mm and managed to do .5 at 6 mph and then had to back off.

Still not a lot of energy.  3 easy miles.  Need to be one with nature so heading out to Antelope Island tomorrow for a run (or a walk if I have no energy).

Needed to get away from sitting on my butt and working and running on pavement/treadmills, so packed up this morning and headed out to Antelope Island.  Lots of people out there this morning - I mentioned to Jim Skaggs that I remember the days when I would be the only runner on the island - not anymore.

14 miles.  I was ready to be done at 10, but wanted to do over 13 - so was glad I was on a loop that would force me to get the mileage in.  Felt some IT Band pain on the last downhills, so need to so some stretching and rolling later.

So nice to trip over rocks and sand and mud. I love trail running. :)
