Too tired to do an early morning run.  After 15 hours of work yesterday in an office building with a dead air conditioner, I got home after midnight and didn't fall asleep until 1 a.m.  Got up with enough time to do a quick puppy walk and back in the office by 6:45 a.m.

Maybe later????

Man ... your job sounds brutal!!!

How are you feeling? Did you get the meds and the inhaler???

We should fire your boss. Is the air-condition fixed? Please tell me you don't have asthma. How's the lungs? How are all the running parts after sitting thru stifling heat and working hours and hours and hours! Can you bring a mattress or treadmill or something entertaining to do. It's Sat. afterall!

This weekend is unusual. Usually - if I have to work on a weekend, I can do it around my running. However, this is a big project that we have been working on for over a year and the rollout kept getting put off for over a year.

I have two developers in from Michigan, and we had 7 other employees in for several hours this morning (2 are still here). We cannot have our website and applications down for more than 24 hours - so are trying to get all the final little details fixed before 8 p.m. or earlier.

I am feeling better. They put me on antibiotics and an inhaler even though they could not hear anything in my lungs - just because of the possibility of a respiratory infection/irritation outside of the lungs. By the next day I was feeling a lot better and only used the inhaler the first 2 days.

I wish I could read - but I have actually been testing both our new website and all our application. Somehow I became the project coordinator.

My boss did tell me I get to take a comp day for all my extra hours. (7 yesterday, so far 9 today, maybe a couple tomorrow). Aren't I the lucky one?

Sounds to me you're indispensable at work! Your boss obviously need you! He/she's the lucky one! Hope the project goes smoothly and you can go home for some rest real soon.

I was sick a year ago in the winter with bronchitis. The doc. put me on anti-biotics. On my follow up visit he said I had exercise/cold induced asthma and put me on inhaler meds. I used it a grand total of two times. Sounds like you're on top of this. May be this work-rest-from-running will do the lungs and legs good.

I'm just glad they fixed the air conditioning overnight! Not nearly as miserable here today.

Smooth - I had to take on a lot of my bosses' responsibilities when she was put on bed rest during her last pregnancy back in January. She will finally come back to work in August! But the question still remains of how much of her work I will continue. I kept a lot of extra responsibility after she had her twins 3 years ago, and will probably keep a lot of new responsibility when she comes back after this one.

You deserve a raise! They need to adequately compensate you for all the extra responsibilities. That place would fall apart if you weren't there, I am sure!

I'm going to be lazy and not run tonight. Might take the puppy for a walk. I worked 27.5 hours yesterday and today (on top of 26 hours the four days previous) and just want to veg out.

Hope you are getting some much needed rest today my friend! :)

How are your lungs???? I am glad that you skipped your run. Too tired does not equal smart to run when you have been sick :) Yeah for fixed air conditioning :)
