Started my run 2 hours too late and the heat definitely got to me. Ran the first 6.25 out and then ran out of steam. For the next 4 miles I alternated between running 200 steps at between 9 mm and 10 mm and walking 100 steps.

The heat absolutely kills you. You've got to get out before 4:00 a.m. if you want to not die of heat stroke! I'm glad Twighlight enjoyed 'running'!

I thought you'd be used to heat after your nasty weekend :) j/k I don't think anyone can get used to heat - YUCK! 12 miles in it is AMAZING though. Hey, I just glanced at your races - are you still doing DesNews 10K? I'll be there too, hopefully we can meet up for a hello!

It's been awhile. I am happy to see you are running injury free right now! Best wishes for the 10k on the 24th.
