OK - so the donut I ate an hour before the run was probably not the best fuel. 7.5 miles in 1:25. I picked a very hilly course - I would think less than a mile was actually flat and it was net uphills ( I still don't know how there can be more uphills than down on a round about course). Pushed the first five miles. Somewhere between marathon and tempo pace. I took a 3 minute break at Gold's Gym at 4.1 miles and was still struggling to get my breathing under control when I started up. Knees started hurting around mile 6. Took some walk breaks the last mile. By mile 6 my ab area was really tired from the pushing section
