I set the alarm 15 minutes earlier so I wouldn't be as rushed in the mornings.

Today, I decided to do some hills and try another route.  My legs are really cold from running in shorts.

Mile 1 - 12:04

Mile 2 - 12:04 - found out the Sandy WW is 1.3 miles from my home

Mile 3 - 10:51 - ahhh - downhills

Mile 4 - 11:04 - love watching people run red lights. Can I make a citizen's arrest?

Great run!!! I really wonder why people think that stop lights and stop signs are just suggestions! I assume that there is a high degree of illiteracy in the state. They just don't know, cause they cant READ!!!! ERGGGjhhhhhh!!!!

You are the BEST!! I am still in heaven over the chocolate!! :D My husband may have a crush on you! ;)

Marion - I think it was because it was early and no cars on the road.

Ask your husband about driving in Italy - street signs are really just suggestions. STOP means yield.

Glad to know somebody loves me. My daughter is going to send more information on the Rome Temple. She says it will be out by Fiumucino (Leonardo da Vinci) Airport. She also said that they were not planning to announce a Rome Temple until 2009 or later, but 2 days before conference, all the missing pieces fell into place and they could announce it then. The Mission President didn't even know until Saturday morning.

Maurine, you need to dress warmer! You are do dedicated to get your run in so early. Want to try Zumba with me tonight? 7:00 at the Rec Center? I can have them punch my card twice so you could try it for free. It is dancey and fun, I have NO coordination what so ever, but I don't care, its a fun different way to exersize.

Why? I wasn't that cold? Besides - it burns more calories. If I keep the upper body warm I am usually good.

Really?? Okay, I am running naked tomorrow!!!

From marion on Mon, Oct 13, 2008 at 15:03:30

I lost 4 lbs on my run this morning :) Kim and I have talked about running naked. We could do that next year for the Making Strides run! We'd really be the fast running boobs!! ;)

I agree about the upper half needing to be warm. BUT---I so would not have worn shorts today!! WOW---you are one dedicated runner. BRRR!! I had shorts on and sprinted to get inside the gym it was so cold!

My husband laughed about the driving. he says that if you want to get some where, you'd better just do it. he says they get out of your way. he's mumbling in Italian now :) Is the temple going to be on the coast?
