Had a touch of the flu yesterday and slept for four hours to help my body heal.

Couldn't fall asleep as a result during the night.

This afternoon I ran 12.5 wonderful miles.  Stopped at 8 to talk with another marathon runner. I ran .5 more with Twilight as a cool down. It sure has been nice to run in shorts this week.

You had the flu with only four hours of sleep?!!! and you ran 13 wonderful miles after that? You're a diehard!!! How "warm" was it? I wore tights and jacket and headbands. It was COLD this morning.

GOOD JOB!!!! Hey, I signed up for the Grand Slam today. It's gonna be fun!

Glad you had a good run today. Hope your flu has vanished.

Take care of yourself Maurine!

Thank you, Teena. Hope you are doing well. One of the biggest benefits of marathon training is that my body usually heals in 24-48 hours now. Prior to that - every cold or sickness would drag on for weeks.

Hey Maurine!

So glad to hear that you are feeling better.

I am doing great. Healing, running some, taking care of the family, getting my school work done, and enjoying the weekend. Totally relishing the minutes I am spending on the blog this evening. Fun to read how everyone is doing!
