Maurine, My name is Jim Kern. I would like to run the Pony Express 50 Miler but have not been able to find a crew. My childhood friend, the famous Davy Crockett, suggested that I humbly ask you if you would be willing to share. Our race times are fairly similar (though you appear to be a bit faster). A sampling of mine are:

2009 Buffalo Run 50k 8:46:21

2010 Buffalo Run 25K 4:21:03

2010 Peach Days 10k 1:04:38

I started running two years ago and have completed three ultras and two marathons plus a lot of other races.

Is crew sharing a possibility?

Jim - I think I ran part of a Buffalo Run training run with you and another runner that was just getting over knee replacement surgery in 2009? I remember you because you were just learning how to deal with the diabetes.

I have sent an email to my sister to see if she would be willing to double crew. I will let you know as soon as I hear back from her.

Are you planning the early start?

NICE mileage on a Mon night! Are you getting excited for the upcoming races? You're gonna do AWESOME this year!

Yes, I'll need the early start.

Smooth - yes, I am excited!

Jim - my sister said that would be fine. I will PM you.
