It's been a while since I've logged my running. It looks like I got a PR in St. George! Boston 2014 was an amazing experience and I haven't had the desire to run another marathon since. Thanks to Becca, I've run a couple 1/2 marathons in the last few years.

The weather was beautiful and I was surprised at how fast the time flew! I had forgotten what to eat and pack on the course. I packed way to much stuff. This blog will be good for me to track what to do again.
Nutrition
Day before - Most calories at Breakfast (1/2 bagel + eggs, and avacado toast on sourdough) and Lunch (Costa Vida Regular size salad). Becca and I had a cut off time of eating at 5:00pm (13 hours before race). Great idea to cut off! I needed my stomach to start digesting. Dinner (apples & PB, fruit stick, 1/2 bagel).
Morning of - 2 hours before race eat (water, 1/2 bagel with PB, honey & 1/3 banana, 2 Pepto Bismal); 30 minutes fruit stick. Next time eat a full bagel and zip fizz starting to sip at 4:30 until race. It was too hard to hold the waterbottle with zip fizz while running.
During Race - I didn't really get to my nutrition in my pockets. I mostly had sips of Gatorade and water at the aid stations. Next time - try 1/2 Gu at mile 4 or 5 and 1/2 Gu at 8 or 9 with a caffine salt tab.
Post Race - What ever you want!
