Personal:

Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).

Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon.  I decided to test that theory.  I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24).  I need 3 more minutes.

The plan was to run the Wahsatch steeplechase route from City Creek, but once I reached the top of Black Mountain, I realized my water belt pouch was open and my car remote was missing!  Luckily, my cell phone was still there.  I ran the trail all the way back down with no luck.  I had to call Elizabeth and Lucas to get me into my car.  So, if anyone finds a car remote on Black Mountain its probably mine...REWARD!  It was still a great run.  It was probably in the 30's up top with a little snow.  I will try again next week.
