Personal:
Married to Elizabeth (she got me running in 2003). We have three boys, Lucas (12) , Sam (8) and Ollie (5).
Many years ago, I read that the AVERAGE male is capable of a 2:40 marathon. I decided to test that theory. I began running in 2003 with Top of Utah as my first marathon (4:24). I need 3 more minutes.

Big improvement from Saturday. My incision looks 100% better, less blood loss and less loopyness.

Mark, Your surgeon give you any timelines on physical activity and running? My doc says 3-4 weeks before I can get back into the gym and 3 months before I start running again. Be interested to hear what your guy says.

Ditto. 3 weeks and if all is OK then non-impact items. 3 months until impact sports like skiing and running. The more I think about it the more I'm glad the injury hit when it did. My core is in good shape which speeds recovery and ability to do things. You should be the same way.
