Now those are very strange  splits.  That was not on purpose even at all.  Kim and I ran to Salem and back.  So that means that the first and last miles had the "Beast" in them.  The three middle miles are as flat as it gets around here.

Can I just say that I LOVE IT WHEN KIM RUNS WITH ME!!!  That was the fastest 55 minutes of my life!  Good friends are hard to find and good friends who will run with you are even more rare.

Ooooo... I put an orange in my vanilla protein shake and it was tasty.

Have an AWESOME Monday :)

Great miles! I can picture right where you ran, by our old horse ranch. Flat is right :)

From Marion on Mon, Feb 02, 2009 at 18:29:11

yes it is FLAT!! :)

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 02, 2009 at 18:47:45

Marion, was that a tempo run? Those middle miles paces are very steady and even. I'll bet if you do that often enough, you'll see improvement in no time.

Great weather for your run, yeah???? Good job!

From Marion on Mon, Feb 02, 2009 at 19:30:22

Smooth- that run was a major fluke! I cannot be that consistant even if I try.

Kelli- the weather was perfect. It felt SO good!

Nice run! I want some orange smoothie! I just had cold pizza after my run... probably not the best thing for me :(

From Marion on Mon, Feb 02, 2009 at 20:17:29

Lori- Hola! And to top off my orange protein smoothie I had whole wheat pita bread, cut up fresh veggies and home made hummus for dinner. (I also had a few diet pepsi's too with sugar free vanilla flavoring )
