I started running in May of 2006 while losing 85 lbs after my youngest was born.  I have 6 fantastic kids, 3 girls and 3 boys and a wonderful husband.  My oldest is in college and my baby is in pre-school. (Six kids in 5 schools ;)

Hauling kids is a CRAZY workout. Always challenging! Nice work with all the yoga and keeping the ITB happy and I think you've achieved most of your goals already from Sunday (get rid of the sinus infection)! YEA!!!

I hope you guys had fun yesterday. Leaving work during the day is always a problem for me (which is why I have to run in the dark now days, which makes me cranky at the onset of school). I'm so glad you had some good piriformis stretching. It hurts so 'good' to get those stretches right! I've been lying and girating upon a tennis ball these days(which, really should only be performed behind a locked door, unless you want both your husband and son to look on in equal parts confusion and anguish). But it totally works. I've used the rolling pin for quads, but now is the miracle of the tennis ball. Take heed though, it hurts.

Man, that came out far worse than I intended.... You lay on your back, place the tennis ball in your piriformis/gluteous region and pivot/massage it with your weight on top of the ball (knees bent to adjust your weight). Not sure if that makes it sound worse or better. But it works.

Luz- the funny thing is I knew EXACTLY what you were talking about and it sounded totally normal to me ;) We must be twisted the same way ;) I'll give the ball a try! How do you keeps the balls out of Gingers mouth???

IT WAS SO GREAT TO SEE YOU AT COSTCO TODAY!!! I am SO glad I know you!!! :D

I'm so glad you understood my attempt at tennis ball massage....You were smokin' in that outfit in Costco today. Sorry I couldn't come to Rred Mango! But I have to tell you, Spoon Me gives bigger portions, with 3 fruit toppings for less cash. (They have yummy fresh blue berries, pineapple, mango, rasberries, etc.) Let me know next time you do that and we'll head there for 'lunch' :)
