| Biking in Illinois. 36.78 miles, 2:49:13, Avg speed 13.0, 2364kCal. Road to South Elgin from Wheaton/Back. AHR: 110 bpm MAX: 138 bpm Interesting fact. There were some bad storms in the area during the previous week. Most of the fallen trees had already been cleared, but there was one tree on the Prairie Path (on my entire ride), and it was directly behind my brother's house -- he doesn't realize how good he has it to be this close to a major trail system. Well, I borrowed my brother's chain saw, and cut up the tree and cleared the path for all the bikers and runners (they had to climb over it to get through before). I did my good deed for the day!
