I think I will be posting once a week now because of school and other distractions. But this week twice. Today did long run like usally but this week a down at 30mpw Like the peak of this season was 50(miles per week)mpw. But I'm going to have a rough training schedule for myself to mentally prepare for region, so I can get my team to state, or try to qualify individual for state. But today I usally and trying to do early morning planks and ab workout-ish with working my way up a 5 min. Plank again like I did back at last track season and started leg 6 in. Hold for 1 min. And also barely started to do side planks and some pushups, but nothing crazy in mornings yet, and also start calorie counting which is interesting I'm trying to get 3500 calories everday, and I have a race this week on Friday called salt lake invitional or something like that, I in the freshman/ sophomore race, try to get top 15 to get a medal or something because it would feel good to get rewarded after my hard training sessions. But I have 18 days til October 8th which is the region race and we as a team are in a tough spot trying to get into state as a team like at pre-region, we tempo for 2.5 miles and last 800M we tryed to race it last I got 20th overall and close race between my teammate brecken who got a 17:04 at the last race the byu race. I got 17:30, my plan for region is to keep with brecken and try to out kick him at region so we both can help the teams chances with state and if not I have a chance to race at state individual. Sorry for long post just want to rant about my thoughts. |
