| | 3 easy miles with the team this morning.
8 miles total for this afternoon. Team did mile repeats at BHNP (aka long grass park). I did the first two with the boys (5:42, 5:40) and then proceeded to get rid of lunch for a bit (Yeah!) Ran the last one with the boys and pushed my 6 and 7 guys. Hit 5:44 for the last mile. Finished off with 4 x finishes on the last part of the race to the finish line. Cooled down after wards. The temps were still pretty hot and the grass was very humid but the team did very well with this workout. Glad to start the week off on a decent note.

| | 3 easy miles this morning with the team. Did Tabatta workout again. Kicks my behind every time.
8 easy miles out on the trails this afternoon. The wind helped cool everything off but it was still quite warm. Solid run from the team today.

| | Big boy workout this morning with the guys. Good to see Clyde hit some solid splits. I felt much better this week than I did last week. My legs were ready to go even though I was pretty tired still. Did the warm up, potty break routine, and then started into the 8 mile tempo run. Splits were: 5:49, 5:38, 5:33, 5:41, 5:29, 5:26, 5:25, 5:34. 5:35/mile.
Very happy with the workout today. Solid run for this morning.
3 more easy miles with the team to The Spectrum. I was very tired after this run.
4.5 miles this afternoon with the team on the warm up and cool down. Team did a monster dirt hill repeat workout and decided to be smart about stuff and not overdo it today. Very glad I was smart about this. Great day of running!

| | Ran the marathon course this morning with Steve and Clyde. We kept the first 10 easy which was right under 7:00/mile. I stopped for a potty break and then pushed hard for the last 10.3 miles to the finish line. Here are my splits: 5:22, 5:24, 5:27, 5:21, 5:12, 5:19, 5:16, 5:12, 5:22, 5:28, and then 5:19 for the last .3 miles or so. 5:19/mile overall. Very happy with this workout. I have some confidence going into the race in two weeks. I just need to run smart and see what happens.
Solid way to end the week. Looking forward to a little less mileage next week with 2-3 quality MP workouts. Can't wait for the tempo run on Wednesday again.
