| | 6.10 miles this morning from the high school over towards Little Valley. I was not able to run anymore today because I had an all day conference and then the cross country parent meeting. This got me really excited for the year. I cannot wait to see what happens with the team. |

| | Tempo Tuesdays are back in session. I met up with Clyde, Dave, Steve, and Paul H. for our run this morning. We did a little bit of a warmup and then did 6 tempo miles and then finished with a cool down. During the warm up I rolled my ankle in a pothole so I was not feeling that great. Once the tempo started I felt a little better. My splits were: 6:05, 5:43, 5:40, 5:34, 5:27, and 5:22. It was faster than I wanted to go but I felt pretty good throughout the run. Nothing fancy but a nice way to start the morning. The temps were under 70 degrees which made the run kind of chilly. I ran 6 miles this afternoon. I did a little before practice and then ran with the team pushing Norah because Katey had an appointment. It is always fun pushing her. Solid day of running.

| | 3 miles in the morning over to The Spectrum with the kids. 8.3 miles in the afternoon with the team. We ran by Ft. Pearce Park with PVHS, DHS, and HHS kids to look at a possible new region course. I think the kids liked it besides the fact the grass was extremely long. I think we might have something there. I then did a little more after practice.

Woke up early to run with the club. We took the shuttle up the marathon course and then ran back down. We kept it steady right from the get go. I am pacing Steve this year in the marathon so we decided to run together. We ran the first 11 steady and then pushed the last 9 miles. I wasn't feeling good about 10 miles in and threw up six times right in a row. I don't know if I was dehydrated or if I ate something bad. Steve looked at me with shock in his beautiful eyes and encouraged me to move forward with the run. I couldn't have finished the run without the One Trick Pony. You can look at Steve's splits for the last 9 miles. I let Steve do most of the pacing and I pushed him up the hills. 6:16/mile overall.
