| | Slept in this morning.
Ran this afternoon due to early out and ended up pushing both Norah and Oliver in the jogging stroller over into Santa Clara. Averaged 7:30/mile. Lots of fun with Norah because she demanded to get out and run alongside me. She ran close to 3/4 mile. Tons of fun.

| | 3 miles easy this morning with the team.
6 miles total this afternoon. 2 mile warm up, strides, 12x400m w/90 sec. recovery. Ran with the girls for the first 10. 1:18 for the first 8, 1:16 for the 9th, 1:10 for the 10th. Paced the boys to go 1:04 on their 11th and then timed then on their 12th. Fun to see some of the guys go mid 50 seconds for the last one. 1 mile cool down. Core and stretch.

| | Clyde was born 35 years ago so to keep the tradition going, we ran 35 miles for his birthday. We started at the DC at 12:10am this morning. Mark and Steve ran the first loop with us. We did two 12.6 loops around Stone Cliff and Little Valley and then didn't extend around Stone Cliff on the final loop. The temps were absolutely perfect and the moon was bright so it made for a memorable run. We hit 35 miles at just under 4:11 for 7:10/mile. Only needed to survive with three Gu's, pretzels, Heed, a little Gatorade, and water.
This run was quite memorable. Very happy to hit something like this every now and then. I was super tired the rest of the day. I crashed at my parent's house for two hours before I went to work. I wish I could have stayed in bed. Memorable run for sure.
Ended up running 2.5 miles with the team this afternoon on part of their Kenyan Run. My body was just physically tired. Sat in a chair and watched the team do 200m finishes. Great group of student/athletes to work with.

| | Got some decent sleep last night. Just ran 3 miles with the team at the high school. No afternoon run due to the track meet. Lots of positives once again from everyone at the meet. Happy with how the team performed. |

| | 6 miles in the morning from the house over into Santa Clara. Temps were absolutely perfect. I slept in and it was nice. No watch but just enjoyed the run. Spent the next 6 hours driving to Logan with the family. Legs are slowly come back to somewhat normal. |

| | Slept in a bit and left the in-laws house a touch after 8:15am. Nice 41 degree weather! Ran up to Sky View and watched the 3200m races. Conner Mantz ran a solo 9:27 in cold and wet conditions. Impressive! Just kept it relaxed and ended up averaging 6:51/mile. Cool thing was that on the way back in North Logan, I ran on to a herd of about 25 deer (one massive buck in the middle strutting his stuff)! I could have almost reached out and grabbed them. It was pretty cool seeing that. Happy to end the week on a solid note. Legs are coming around and I think I am getting caught up on my sleep. Yeah! Now I get to enjoy the rest of the weekend in Logan. |
