| | Ran this afternoon in beautiful weather. I ran the first couple miles with the kids and then did my DC trail/Bloomington Loop extension. I kept it easy for the first little bit with the kids and then picked it up without really even thinking about it. I kept it controlled and just enjoyed the run and surprisingly averaged 6:37/mile. Nothing spectacular but a solid way to start the week.

| | 8 miles this afternoon. I got out late with some of the kids due to a track meeting. I did my DC trail loop but just cut it short. I ran a couple mile warm up and then did 15 x 1:00min. hard/1:00 min. easy. It was a nice little push today and really made me happy since I was short on time. |

| | Usual Wednesday morning run with the guys starting at Clyde's house. Nothing spectacular but some good conversation as usual. Over 40 degrees at the start which was a little surprising. Just over 10 miles for the run. Bloomington Loop/DC trail route with the kids this afternoon. It was a nice weather today so Brigham and I pushed a little bit. Solid run at 6:50/mile. Added a little bit of a cool down after.

| | Took the team to run over by the Bloomington Loop going out towards Utah Hill. I ran the first little bit with them and extended it for the full loop. I added a mile up the mountain before I came back down to get a little bit more mileage. Ran into a lot of cows today. They looked at me like I was crazy. Fun stuff. I also ran in to an older guy who was shooting guns with the boys. I ran by and he said, "That does not look like a lot of fun." I replied, "I think it is fun." That was my 3rd grader response. I wish I could have thought of something better to say. Nice solid trail run for a Thursday. Happy to get some good climbing in today.

| | Woke up early to get a long run in since we are driving to Logan tonight. I was up and running at 4:30am. I ran out along Snow Canyon Parkway over towards Diagonal and stopped just in front of the the old courthouse. Fairly warm this morning and not very fast but just got the miles in. Happy to be done for the day. I was very hungry afterwards.

| | Drove up to Logan last night and so I was a little tired this morning. Goal was to hit 85 miles this week so I planned on doing just a little over 14 miles for the day with a workout thrown in there. I started at my in-laws and ran to Skyview High School and then looped back through downtown Logan. At the high school I started my workout. I did 10 x 2:00 min. hard/2:00 min. easy. It was a nice workout and I was happy to get it in with all of the other family stuff going on today. Happy to hit the mileage for the week. Need get a few more morning runs in. Happy to finish the week strong though.
