This is Character Week with the TEAM and captains are in charge. Always hard to be away from the TEAM but it is what we have to do.
I drove up to Cedar this morning and ran with one of the all-time greats, Sage Ducote. He took me up on Cedar Mountain and we ran the Kolob Terrace Road. It was 9,000+ feet and had lots of big, rolling hills. The scenery, temps, and all the deer made it worthwhile. We ended up running 12 miles total at 7:09/mile. I definitely felt the elevation but it was still amazing. Lots of fun running with Sage this morning and catching up. He is a great young man and I thoroughly enjoyed coaching him.
3 miles this afternoon.
