Happy with the result today but slightly disappointed a little. Ran with Dave the whole race until mile 21 when the calves tightened up a bit. I really hoped to go with him. He ran a fantastic race and I am very happy for him. "Old man" PR so I will take it. Fastest this old body has moved in almost 6 years. Full report later. Great job to everyone today for an incredible race. It was very fast today. Happy to run with Mike Nelson for a little bit and see him crush his PR, Dave almost running a PR, Ben Vanbeekum finally breaking through with even a potty break (turkey caught me at 24), Mark Madsen gutting it out to get his sub-3:00 hours and Clyde for rocking out a 2:33 even with all those dang bike miles.

Really nice race. You got a shout-out on the radio as the Desert Hills soccer coach. Those soccer boys must be proud.

That was ALL because of you! Thanks so much. Welcome back to the sub 2:30 club. By the way Clyde stole your place on the podium for pics!

Old man PR is still a PR (of some sorts, at least), right? Nice run, Logan.

Congrats on the sub-2:30. It's kind of funny that we're all "old men" now. I guess that 2007 was quite a while ago...

Oh yeah, you guys are old... Good run!

Awesome race, Logan! Congrats on the sub 2:30 finish after your little "break". Perhaps your best time is still ahead...

It was great to chat with you after the race. I appreciate the way you kept Mike in the race and coached him to an amazing finish.

Great job going sub-2:30. That is a great accomplishment, even though it was not near your amazing run of years ago it is still impressive, especially to us 2:59ers. Keep up the good work!

Dude I'm pumped for ya. I thought you'd be a little faster to be honest. But this is a great "gateway race" into your old man career. Way to gut out a solid sub 2:30!

From Jake K on Sun, Oct 06, 2013 at 20:46:16 from 67.177.11.154

Really solid race Logan. Congrats.

Great effort Logan! Thanks for picking me up at 12 and dragging me through the middle part of the race. You guys are tough as nails!

Great race Logan. It was nice talking to you again. You're a great runner.

And you're not old! You're in my age division, so you better not be old!
