Sub 1:10 half by the summer.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Enjoy running and fight off heart disease or diabetes that has been passed on for many generations. Try and break the cycle.

Personal:

I am currently 39 years old. I have a 11 year old girl, Norah, a 9 year old boy, Oliver, and a 6 year old girl, Myla, who are wonderful. I am a SPED Teacher at Desert Hills High School in St. George, Utah. I also coach the cross country and track teams at Desert Hills High.

6.60 miles with the boys this morning. We went from the high school and then ran out into the desert. Lots of fun.

I got out late this evening and did a nice 6 mile run through Ivins. I spooked a lady walking with her horse on the road. She yelled, "Hey, I have a horse buddy." I said, "Sorry, I am running on the road. Don't horses belong in fields?" She was still upset. My bad for running on the road.

I had a similar incident once when some people saw me (they looked and waved) and then apparently I spooked the horse and almost bucked one of them off. I felt bad until the lady yelled at me that I should warn them that I was around. I said, "You guys saw me; you even waved," and just kept on going. I was like what the crap woman.
