I found out yesterday that I got the job at Desert Hills as a SPED teacher!  I am also going to be coaching track and cross country.  Katey and I are really excited.  This should be a good move for both of us not only job wise but recreation wise as well.  Katey has a couple job opportunities hopefully and we both love doing things outside (i.e. running, biking, running, running, and running!)  As a result of the move, we have a free snow shovel for anyone that wants it.

I got up early this morning and did 20 miles.  I averaged just under 6:30/mile overall for the entire run.  I was glad to be done with this run because I hit 100 miles for the week while not feeling good at all, completely missing one day, and kicking this flu bug.  I will get some sleep today and tomorrow and should be back to 100% by Monday.  The beauty of running 20 miles in the morning allowed me to go get a hearty breakfast at Jeremiah's with the in-laws afterwards.  Yummy!  I am getting excited for Del Sol next week.  It should be a lot of fun.

Congradulations on the Job! Good for you! When do you think you'll be moving down? Awesome on the run this morning. It's motivating. We need to get some runs in before you head south.

Congratulation Logan! We are all stoked to have you moving down. And now I can send 1/2 my team off to Desert Hills with confidence that they will have an awesome coach who will get them where they need to be!

Congrats very exciting news. I was just talking with Steve tonight about you wondering if you got the job. I said all I need to do is figure out a way to get the Cross Country job at Hurricane, we would have you at Desert Hills, Dave at Pine View, We could have lots of high school fast running bloggers.

Great news! I am glad that worked out for you. Glad to see you feeling better, I hope to kick my flu bug as well.

Major congrats, that is awesome although I worry about your low elevation training and warm weather training, i think this is where you got tough... running in all types of weather and at the high elevation in the valley!! j/k you will love it down there... Kel and I were very very close to doing it about 5 years ago when I was working as a loan rep!
