Personal:

I started running at age 40 (14 years ago!)  I am married to Harold, he is a super supportive husband and we enjoy running and biking the trails along the Wasatch Front together. Between us we have 7 children and 9 grandchildren.  I am really having fun trying new races in scenic parts of Utah, I am a newbie in the ultrarunning world, I am slow, but love everything about it!  I have a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the journey.

NICE spin, 9 miler and all the workouts this week. For some reason I thought you're doing Antelope Island this Sat. Are you?

HI Kelli and Smooth! No, my next race is April 24th Red Mountain 50K, isn't it the same day you girls are doing Boston?

From Smooth on Thu, Mar 25, 2010 at 23:57:51 from 174.23.198.220

Boston is on Monday April 19. Red Mountain sounds like fun! Do you taper for that? There's a Half marathon at Thanksgiving Point on Apr 24. Wendy and some of our friends are running it. I might go volunteer!

ohhh, I have been tapering since Oct! haha! I am chubby and out of shape. Pretty discusting really, but I will survive! A half marathon at Thanksgiving Point sounds more reasonable at this point, never heard of it, is it new? Tell Wendy hi and good for you to volunteer!

Yes, this is new, a fund raiser for the museum. I'm missing all these fun local halfs due to Boston. This Sat. is the Riverton 1/2...I would have run it if I didn't have a General YW Mtg obligation that day.

I doubt you are chubby. You've been working out like crazy. Winter is just so hard to train outside. You will do GREAT!!!

I know you are not chubby and out of shape! You are doing great!!!
