Hurray for Churchill. What a fun tradition, they have a 5k race every year and the kids can pay 2 dollars to get out of class and go run. I walked with some other teachers at a brisk pace and that was rough up a couple hills. Very enjoyable, we passed so many slackers and I mean a lot like 100 or more. Man do these kids have no pride? I never would have been caught dead being passed by OLD teachers, WALKING! Afterwards the students could buy waterballoons to throw at the teachers and I willing stood in my assigned area but I didn't have very many people going after me, I was fairly dry. Other teachers came out in ponchos, and umbrellas. Pretty fun |
