My first mile and a half felt really good and things got a little painful after that. I walked for a minute and then ran again. About 2.5 I was thinking I should stop but pushed through to the 3 mile mark. I finished in 34 minutes not my best time but not my worst.  Then I walked for a few minutes.   My right knee right under my knee cap started to hurt again. I was suprised because my left leg felt a little stiff in the back the last two days.    At the end of my run I noticed if I twised my body slightly to the left and leaned a bit it did not hurt as bad.

I worked my abs and did a few leg weights and then I rode the bike for 20 minutes.

My husband is out of town this whole week so i have no choice but to use the treadmill but I am hoping that when he gets back I will be able to get outside more.

I did stop at the running store on my way home to look into new shoes. (It is much closer than runners corner)  They were closed.  it was like 1:30 in the afternoon. The sign said they should be open but no one was there.    I have a flet feet by my house I am not sure if they are good at fitting running shoes.

I have had similar knee problems and was told that I had runners knee. I wrapped my knee with an ace bandage and then iced it after each run for about 30 minutes. The pain lasted about 2 weeks and now I am feeling no pain. Have you tried to wrap it when you run? I hope it gets feeling better I know how you feel being put back. I am just starting to get into running. You're doing great and I hope that the knee gets feeling better! Good luck!

I have heard they do a good job. But I would rather go somewhere I know that they will get it right. DO you need some more scraping?

Josse I have no idea what I need. I am going to wait until this weekend when my husband gets home and then I am going to runners corner.

I did get a knee strap and that seems to at least keep the pain in one location of my knee. (Once it started)

I was so happy to be running more than a mile today and so disapointed when my knee got to hurting again.

I would go and see Dr. Brady in Provo he is a sports chiro but is very knowlegable and uses alot of differant tecniques to help you get better. His # is 375-2420 and only see him.
