My best 5k is 29.27.  

Short-Term Running Goals:

Beat my best 5k time.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to stay fit. I have 6 kids and I want to be physically able to keep up with them. I would eventually like to run some longer races and maybe do a triathalon.

Personal:

I am very happily married, We have 6 children. 4 girls and then we adopted two boy's. They are 17mths, 4,4,4,7 and 11.

I thought I would take advantage of the defrosted road and try running out side.  I have no idea how you all run out side as much as you do and don't slip and fall.  My lab came with me and fell 3 times. I am sure I would have if I would not have been watching my steps so closely.  It was all clear and then all the sudden patches of ice. 

My husband was suprised I cam home dry and not complaining of falling.

My lungs did not like the cold air when I was breathing hard.  I made it home in 23 minutes.

It's not easy at times that is why I do my harder runs on the track or treadmill. If you can do a treadmill when it is really nasty outside. It's not worth sustaining a sprained ankle like I did had one year.

Keep going though, It gets better and better over time.
