My best 5k is 29.27.  

Short-Term Running Goals:

Beat my best 5k time.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would like to stay fit. I have 6 kids and I want to be physically able to keep up with them. I would eventually like to run some longer races and maybe do a triathalon.

Personal:

I am very happily married, We have 6 children. 4 girls and then we adopted two boy's. They are 17mths, 4,4,4,7 and 11.

I am so sore today. I did the arc trainer for 30 minutes with alternating weights 5-30pds. That was 1.53 miles.

I tried running  but my legs did not want to run today, it hurt so I figured I better not push it or I would rip something.

So I went and worked my arms and abs.

Then I rode the bike on a light resistance for 15 minutes going 3 miles.

I did not sleep well at all last night. My husband has a cold and he sounded like a train all night. I finally went to the couch but I think that made me stiff.

I live in a bubble. What's an arc trainer? Is it like an elliptical? I think you were smart to listen to your body today and do some cross training!

Yes it is like an elliptcal. You lift your legs higher and no arm pulls on it.

I guess it is more up and down where the elliptical is more circular.

The gym people say it is the closest thing to running which is weird because I can't ever do more than 1.80 in 30 min, but I do always add at least 25 pds on avg.

Ya I'm sore.
