It was another cold and icy morning.  Got up at 6:30am and ran out side.  I ran out about 1 mile and then turned around and went home and put on my running tights.  It was too cold for shorts today.  Most days the cold doesn't bother me to wear shorts but ever since I got back for Florada I have felt colder.  After putting on tights I went out for another 4 miles.  I averaged a 7:50 for my run this morning.  I wanted to run faster but the snow and ice on the roads and sidewalks slowed me down.

The Steve and I ran along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail on Tuesday morning, and it was literally snot freezing cold. (6ºF according to MotionBased). It sure was nice to be out though.

Are you running with Loco anymore? I'm just starting to get my mileage back up, so I'm just doing short runs (around 6 miles) but it would be fun to see you there.

Chris- you wore tights?? That's pretty cold. It's good to see you keeping up that consistent training after the marathon/half marathon.

Kris- The Pope and I are running with Bill and his crew. Didn't Bill contact you a while back about running with us? I can forward you the information if you're interested.

Come to think of it, I've never actually seen Chris in tights before, and I know we've run in single digit temperatures together. You must be getting old, my man.

Craig: I traded e-mails with Bill a few months ago about joining him for off-season work, but my personal life never really allowed it. (Being a new dad is time consuming!)

Kris-How is that baby of your doing? Ever since I got back from Florida I have been cold. I need to work my body back into the cold and then the tights will be put away till next year.

Rosie is perfect! Thanks for asking. She's starting to sleep through the night a little more (although, not last night) which definitely makes getting up early to run much easier.

We need to get out and run together soon, but you have to be gentle with me - I'm not going to be busting out sub-7:00 miles anytime soon!
