Was hoping to run a bit on Thursday at girl's camp but it didn't work out. I knew I wouldn't be able to on Friday because of early morning packing and clean up. Today I was up bright and early with Tom to meet the Saturday gang at 5:00. We were able to catch the last glimpse of the huge full moon before it slipped quietly behind the mountain. Beautiful! So happy to see my friend Kim Hall at the church ready to run with us! Other than her it was just the guys. Not that I don't like them too...it is just nice to have another girl around. Hopefully she will join in more often. She was only out for an 8 miler but she ended up running further with us and probably got home with 11 or 12. Tom, David Ludlow and I all got 18 for the day. We included a jaunt up Harry's Hill to help get the miles. So happy to feel good. |
