I started running in the fall of 2007. I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.
Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014. My favorite PRs: 2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22. 2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15
Short-Term Running Goals:
Long-Term Running Goals:
Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.
Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!
On running and on life.....
On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Personal:
Going to St. George? Bag the hotel and stay in one of our condos instead!
Yeah!!!! Beth and I got our 7 miler in today!!! It feels good to have it in! I feel great, like I could still be out there running. I think it helps me that it is a slow pace, (it is turtle pace for most of you). It makes me feel like I could keep going. I'm happy to be on track for the 1/2 in January.
Hooray! Way to get it done Kim! I was starting to get nervous something went wrong this morning as I waited for your blog to get updated and it was taking a while. Glad to see both you and Beth gutted it out and are even a little ahead of schedule for the 1/2 marathon.
Great you felt like could have kept going. Did Beth feel pretty good about the run as well?
Congratulations Kim! 7 is over half of a half marathon, and in a month 7 will be a cake walk for you.
Do you take Tom's Garmin? You might want to record your pace just so you can track your progress and be able to compare your training from year to year.
No Michelle, I take MY garmin! We are a 2 Garmin family! Tom gave me my own for my b-day a few years ago when I was in a running mode. The difference between then and now is this time I'm staying in running mode! I love the Garmin. I will probably start adding my pace more often so I can watch the progress. But it IS a little bit hard to do that when a lot of people on this blog say, "I ran and easy 50 miler at 5:00 pace!" (OK, a little bit exaggerated, but not by much!) :o)
