Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom and I joined with the SF group at 6:00 this morning.  It was a nice, brisk morning that frosted our eyelashes, hair and mustaches on those who had them.  (I didn't want to say mustaches because I don't want you to think I have a mustache, but one guy had a really cool frosted mustache.)  I was able to keep up with the slow pack a lot better than I have other times.  Tom was doing a 15 miler where he speeds up 30 seconds every other mile.  So he was with me for a couple of miles and is still out on his own now.

Busy day ahead with a couple basketball games, primary activity and piano festival.  OK, I'm cold now, so I'm going to warm up in a nice, long, HOT shower!

Great run. Brrrr. That made me cold just reading it!!!

By the way, I never did tell you ... I was so impressed with how gracious you were in taking the criticism/discussion on the discussion forum after your half marathon. You were much more forgiving and teachable that I would've been. Thanks for teaching me a better way to be.

Thanks ladies!

Laura, It didn't bother me about the discussion, mostly because it was something that I was hoping to be able to do better at. I don't mind some constructive criticism coming my way. I think it was all in helping me and others out on the next one. My name wasn't mentioned specifically until I put it in, so I guess it's my own fault to have my name involved with it. I am hoping that some of the comments will help me out next time.

Thanks Kim, I love all the support that you are always willing to give! You seem to just always be filled with so much positive energy. Right now life just seems to be coming at me from all sides right now and although I will not quit running, I can't keep it on the front burner for now!
